Product design and UX
Make the service easier to understand and the work easier to complete.
A confusing interface often reflects a confusing process underneath it. Adding a better-looking screen will not fix unclear responsibilities or missing information. We help you understand what users are trying to achieve, shape a workable flow and test the design before committing to a full implementation.
Learn from the people doing the work
We discuss real tasks with users and stakeholders, review the current service and identify where people hesitate, repeat work or ask for help. Research should answer decisions the project actually needs to make, rather than produce a report that nobody uses.
The findings become a set of priorities and user flows. We distinguish the needs shared by most users from the exceptions that require a separate path.
Test the flow before polishing the interface
Prototypes let people try an idea while it is still inexpensive to change. We use tasks that resemble real work and pay attention to what people do, not only whether they say they like the design.
The visual design follows the workflow and your brand. Reusable components, readable content and clear interaction states help the service remain consistent as more features are added.
Include accessibility in everyday design decisions
We consider keyboard use, contrast, labels, focus behaviour and understandable feedback during design and implementation. Accessibility needs practical checks of the agreed flows, not just a final checklist attached to a release.
The handover records the components, behaviour and content decisions the implementation team needs. When an existing service is being reviewed, findings are prioritised so the team knows what to address first.
What you receive
- Research findings and prioritised user needs
- User flows and interactive prototypes
- Interface designs and reusable component guidance
- Usability findings and accessibility improvement plan
A good fit when
- People need help to complete routine tasks
- A redesign needs a clear reason beyond appearance
- You want to test a new service before building it
Common questions
Can you improve an existing interface?
Yes. We can review selected journeys, observe how people use them and propose focused improvements. A complete redesign is only one possible outcome.
Do you deliver designs or working software?
The scope can cover research and design alone, or continue into development. We agree the handover format and how design decisions will be checked during implementation.
Can you use our existing design system?
Yes. We review its components and rules before introducing anything new. Where the system does not cover a need, we document the proposed addition so it can be reused consistently.
