Integrations and APIs
Make your systems exchange information without the manual work.
A customer places an order in one system, someone copies it into another, and a third team checks whether the numbers match. Integrations can remove those handoffs, but only when the rules for the information are clear. We connect applications and build APIs around the way your business needs data to move.
Agree what should move, and who owns it
We map the information exchanged between your ERP, CRM, online services, partner systems or other applications. For each flow, we agree the source of truth, the required fields and the timing. A connection is only useful if both sides mean the same thing by an order, a customer or a status.
We also check the interfaces your suppliers provide. Existing APIs, file transfers and access restrictions influence the solution, so vendor coordination belongs in the scope.
Handle the cases outside the happy path
Systems go offline, messages arrive twice and source data can be incomplete. We define how the integration should respond: which requests can be retried, what must be checked by a person and how duplicate updates are avoided.
For an API used by partners or your own applications, we document access, request formats and error responses. Changes need a compatibility plan so an improvement on one side does not unexpectedly break the other.
Make failures visible to the right people
We plan monitoring and useful error records alongside the connection itself. Your team needs to know which flow failed, which records were affected and what action to take. A technical error message alone is rarely enough.
The handover includes instructions for checking a flow, investigating an exception and recovering safely. Support ownership is agreed for both sides of the integration.
What you receive
- Map of data flows, ownership and interface requirements
- API or integration implementation with access controls
- Failure handling, tests and monitoring
- Interface documentation and recovery instructions
A good fit when
- People copy information between applications
- Different systems disagree about the same records
- Customers or partners need a dependable way to connect
Common questions
Can you connect a system that has no API?
Sometimes. We check supported exports, imports and other interfaces with the supplier. The available options determine how reliable and maintainable the connection can be; we explain those limits before implementation.
Does everything need to update in real time?
No. The business need determines the timing. An overnight transfer may be enough for a report, while availability or order status may need faster updates. We choose the simplest approach that meets that need.
Can you work directly with our software vendors?
Yes. With your permission, we can clarify interfaces, coordinate test access and agree responsibilities with the suppliers involved. Their availability and interface changes also need to be considered in the plan.
