Cloud infrastructure and DevOps

A clear, maintainable way to run and release your software.

A deployment should not rely on someone remembering a sequence of commands. Nor should a cloud account be a collection of resources nobody can explain. We help you organise environments, automate agreed delivery steps and make the infrastructure understandable to the people responsible for it.

Build around your operating requirements

We review the applications, existing accounts, access needs and the team that will operate the system. Requirements for availability, data location, recovery and cost influence the design. We separate what the business needs now from options it may need later.

We can improve an existing environment or prepare a new one. The choice of cloud provider and services should account for your team's skills and the work involved in maintaining the setup.

Make releases repeatable

We define the path from a reviewed change to a running application. That includes the checks before release, environment configuration, handling of secrets and the process for database changes where applicable.

Automating the steps makes the process more consistent, but release decisions still need an owner. We agree the validation and recovery procedure instead of assuming every change can be deployed in the same way.

Leave an environment people can understand

Infrastructure configuration, monitoring and access arrangements are documented as part of the work. We make clear which resources support each application and what needs attention when the environment changes.

Budgets and usage information help your team understand costs. We also record the support responsibilities, so an alert or a failed release does not leave everyone wondering who should act.

What you receive

  • Environment and access design for the agreed workloads
  • Documented infrastructure configuration
  • Build and release pipelines with agreed checks
  • Monitoring, cost visibility and recovery instructions

A good fit when

  • Deployments depend on manual steps or one person's knowledge
  • Environments are difficult to reproduce or compare
  • You need clearer ownership of infrastructure and cloud costs

Common questions

Do we need to move to another cloud provider?

Not automatically. We assess the current environment and the reason for considering a move. Improving the existing setup may be less disruptive and more useful than migration.

Can you work with our current deployment tools?

Yes. We review the tools and process before proposing changes. The goal is an understandable delivery path that your team can use, rather than introducing a new tool for every step.

Who owns the cloud account and configuration?

Ownership, access and handover are agreed before implementation. For infrastructure supporting your business, accounts should normally remain under your organisation's control, with appropriate access for the people operating them.
